High Alching is a great way to make money in Runescape. Not only can you cut the costs of expensive skills to level like Smithing and Fletching but you can also train your Magic really quickly and easily! High Alchemy takes 5 game ticks, or about 3.0 seconds, to cast. It can be cast up to about 1185 times in one hour, although in practice many people only cast it 900-1100 times per hour. Players should note that the time it takes to cast High Alchemy is slightly faster than the time it takes for a Gnome Guard with a halberd to attack. This and the fact that they rarely ever hit more than 2, makes this a great method for the players who cannot seem to get the timing correct.
